Sealing rope produced by our company, belongs to no-water system material and added with special additive. It has good properties such as no shrinkage after its operation, good adhesion of sealing rope itself and easy to form. It is ideal for sealing all the random gaps between dummy bar head and mould copper plate, to prevent the hot metal infiltration and break out while casting.
After sealed by sealing rope, it is essentially solid-free with residue between dummy bar head and mould copper plate, no damage to the copper plate and easy to clean.

Instructions for the Crystallizer sealing rope
Crystallizer sealing rope is used before casting process. Each time while using, take them out from the carton and placed on the gap between dummy bar head and mould copper plate, then press them tightly with your finger. For the sealing rope can be any shape under pressure so that they can completely filled up the gap. The unused ropes must be back into the carton and sealed in plastic bags. The left ropes, which were not completely hardened, can be continued to use for next time.
